Why should I
Join the Ware County Band Boosters?
Because, in the 2006-2007 school year, the Ware County Band boosters raised
funds that went directly to the Ware County Band Program in the following
ways:

2 Band
Camp cookouts for the marching band

Band
Uniforms and maintenance

Help
to fund Band Camp to purchase flags, auxiliary equipment and
props for marching season

Halftime refreshments at each home football game for both the Golden
Gators and visiting band

Paid
expenses for All-State students to attend All-State

Sponsored marching band at 2 marching contests wth entrance fees
and food

towards Band jackets per student

Annual
Banquet at year-end for entire band, complete with meal and
all awards

$3000
provided to each Middle School for awards and other special
needs

Contributions to band students trip accounts through their
participation in fundraisers (including Middle Schools)

Contributed to Jazz Band for New York competition

If your
child is in the Ware County Band program, then you should be a member of the
Ware County Band Boosters, shouldn't you? Please take the time to support
your band student.
In order
for your child to receive his/her Band Jacket, parents/guardians must be
members in good standing of the Ware County Band Boosters during the child's
9th, 10th, and 11th grade years.
